AITOOW thinks what is holding Hillary Clinton back is NOT playing the victim card? The 60/70's feminist ethos of appearing every bit as strong as a man doesn't play anymore. You aren't supposed to be a tough guy. You aren't supposed to be better. You are supposed to be a charity case in order for people to like you. Convincing the public that a women can be just as tough isn't important. It may not have even been when she last ran for office and that is why she didn't connect. Attitudes have changed quickly. Then again, I now remember that she wouldn't do it the first go around either and people had issues with it. People describe her as competent but unlikable and untrustworthy. Too bad she isn't running for African war lord.
