AITOOW wonders if stop signs would be more efficient? I often wonder how much time is wasted at stop lights. Many a time, no cars are crossing while I wait at a red light. Almost always, they is not a full stream of cars the full time the light is green. It seems plausible that a "I go. You go" system would be the best use of time.

AITOOW noticed how fast food places are taking advantage of Covid to raise prices (and shrink sizes ie McDonald's large soda)? I know raw materials and labor costs are probably rising. But, I think it's another sign of consolidation/small businesses shutting down. How long until all the people quitting over vax requirments enter the culinary and resort industrial labor pools?

Hospitals. They have to be getting fat on the government paid care. Karens? Control freak politicians? The left in general. They look bad if we figure out this was a fraud. Fauci/CDC? Pelosi/Schumer? Sending up smoke to hide the porkulous bill? Media? Need ratings spark. I can't even understand how this many people are finding test centers. Are they using at home tests? I though most test centers had been mothballed. Are they just inventing case numbers?

AITOOW wonder why they build towns around a highway and then make the speed limit 30 mph through it? If you wanted to be safe, here's a tip. Don't build around the fastest, most congested street in town. These roads should be for cars. 55 mph at least.

AITOOW loves the continued metoo and blm drumbeat of the Olympics on NBC? They never miss a chance to point out black or female "success" stories. So glad we have the USWNT, softball team, Simon Biles, Naomi Osaka, that obnoxious blond swimmer (not Ledecky) to remind us of the truth. And what were we worried about with regard to podium protests? You have to get to one first. I have to direct some deserved bile to Beetlejuice (see Howard Stern show) err Simone. The anti-Shrug. Odd that such a snowflake is black. Maybe she needs a stupor hero costume like the track athletes. A (culturally appropriated) hairstyle/wig, crazy lashes, crazy makeup and piercings might empower her. And was there ever a worse advertisement for Japan than these Olympics? Heat, rain, oppression.
