AITOOW wonders why we (those who won't be flooded) are fighting global warming? We need more water and land for a rising population. Doesn't warming provide both of those? Plus the land can be farmed. That means more food. It might leads to natural resource discoveries. And most of the "new" land will be controlled by Caucasians. Has anyone even calculated the net land gain/loss? Or are we going to be directed by a few Pacific Islanders and a swamp in Italy and the Netherlands?

AITOOW wonders if the liberal storm troopers (young) will eventually turn on their creators?  Is that the cost of revolution? They remind me of a well trained bird dog. Taught to flush out prey. Insensible to anything but his master's whistle. Craving attention and positive reinforcement. Devoid of any real relationships other than their master's. But, these aren't dumb beasts. They are cunning and their masters have also taught (directly or indirectly) them how to be manipulative to the extreme. How long will it be before they want the whistle. And what happens when they all want it? Do they turn on each other? Is the end game chaos? Is this what "progressives" want? A collapse of social order. Anarchy. Through chaos comes order. An authoritarian order of the State? Now that I read my own words, it sounds vaguely familiar. I just hope they have trans-gender bathrooms this time around.

Circular Logic

AITOOW realizes that "circus" comes from "circle"? I never understood the Picadilly Circus. More questionable English english. As a kid, I thought there once must have been a circus there in olden days. Same with the Circus Maximus. I thought it had been a big circus pavilion. And I'm guessing a circus is a circus because of the shape of the performing areas. Odd. There are so many other things they could have named it after (place where dozens of  ghost faced demons exit an automobile) that they chose the "stage" as the most evocative. Love those etymologies. Just realized "diocese" must have something to do with "dio" (ie God) as well.

Research Engine

AITOOW wonders if there is a worldwide compendium of research projects/studies that one can search BEFORE they begin one? It should be like a marital registry. You check off the item when you "buy" it. I seem to be hearing about findings from studies that I swear I've heard of before. I know these studies are more about "employing" intellectuals than improving the human condition, but, it would be nice to have some oversight. And perhaps it could save the few legitimate truth seekers from duplicating work. If academia won't do it then smart philanthropists should or demand that it be done. Our species can hardly afford to waste the money or the time.

AITOOW wonders why the term "Christ killers" is a bad thing? It should be a good thing or at least a push. Wasn't Christ's dying why he was placed on Earth to begin with? Wasn't it the requirement for the cleansing of our sins? If the Jews (it was the Romans/Italians who put him on the cross but let's ignore that fact) "killed" him, shouldn't we have been thanking them this whole time? No Jews, no crucifixion, no happy ending.

AITOOW wonders if it isn't just a-holes checking their Facebook updates or texts that is responsible for all the ridiculousness we encounter on the roads? Is GPS a major contributor? Are people driving without knowing (visualizing the route) where they are going? Is this why there are so many last minute lane changes. etc. Is this why cars are creeping along timidly (like they are waiting for a change in direction)? Is the fact that GPS's are often wrong a reason for suspect actions on the road?

AITOOW thinks it's odd that they won't let you drink alcohol in a car but you can drink it in places that you have to take your car to? If you drink and then get in the car won't the alcohol have been in your blood stream longer and make you more dangerous? If you start drinking in the car, you may still be sober when you get to your destination.

AITOOW wonders how companies (anybody) feel they can get away with anything with the profusion of lawyers in society? You would think that every transgression would be litigated. I guess civil litigation is too much work.

A-Bono-crombie and (Disappoint) Ment

AITOOW who read an excellent article in Sunday's NY Post (by Paula Froelich I think) on this Robin Williams/Sean Penn looking false prophet. It has been a while since I lapped up his sanctimonious pedagogy, but, this just confirmed my suspicions. It's as stale as his music. It seems he uses your money (to his One foundation) like most leftist "philanthropic(on)s". He spends it on diversions/escapades for himself, his family, his friends, his associates and marketing to create causes to get at more of your money. No real/tangible work.

I'd also like to take this time to remind you that when you donate to a specific cause (like Irma hurricane relief with the Red Cross), they just dump that money into a general welfare fund and it can end up supporting people like the PLO. And if you saw all the black people (not players) sitting during the national anthem of a Houston Texans game (in person) like I did last week, you might not be so quick to give to these ingrates.

There was also a mindless puff piece in that paper defending selfies. The sophomoric thesis was that criticism = misogyny. The real thesis is - I (the author) do it (and don't want to admit I'm a shallow narcissist) AND I read a whole book (possibly over 100 pages) on it (the singular reference support for the article) that said it was ok, so stop saying it's wrong (a behavior I would have to commit energy towards curtailing/a restriction on my Id). I know the paper probably has to include these glorified blog posters to appeal to a demographic or to prove they aren't discriminatory or provide a job for the spawn or side piece of an important executive or board member, but, it really detracts from real articles like the one cited above. But, you know, I'm just trying to exert my privilege on the most over-privileged cohort on the planet - CAPS (Clueless American Princesses).

I'm glad to see that only white men harass women. Fits that whole white privilege narrative. A white man is so narcissistic that only his own touch is permissible. He is so sexist and racist that nobody is good enough to enjoy him but himself. AITOOW wonders why there is a hub bub about the DNC shafting Bernie Sanders? Donna Brazile has been saying that she wanted to draft Joe Biden even after Hillary was "elected" by the voters. If the party was contemplating that kind of cabal, then what they did to Bernie was nothing in their world.

And can I surmise that all the talking heads opining on Tuesday's election results have health insurance through their employers. No one has connected the dots on why health care was cited as the number one concern. Could it be that they also just received their new health insurance notices? Perhaps they also saw a 100% increase?!

AITOOW wonders how off base the owner of the Texans was when he called football players "prisoners"? Are we saying that there are no law breakers in the NFL? I seem to recall more than one news report about manslaughter, domestic violence, gun possession, drug possession, assault, battery, dog fighting, tax evasion, dui, speeding, menacing, sexual assault, etc. It even occurs before they get to the league. I wish I was industrious enough to compile the stats. So, not only was the quote purposely taken out of context to advance an self serving agenda, it was semi-accurate. Now, saying all that, I still may join them in a kneel down after the bullshit way I was treated by incompetent state troopers this weekend. The funny thing is that both these idiot groups were probably teammates in high school.

AITOOW wonders what they mean when they say only 20% of Puerto Rico has power? Is it 20% of people? 20% of homes? 20% of the total area of the island? How do they measure power? Continual, uninterrupted? The one thing I do know is that the tabloid media will use the measure that makes it seem the most egregious. So, I'd wager it is land area. And it's not like every inch of land was populated before the storm.

AITOOW has read the side of a Big Mac container? It says "there is no place two 100% pure beef patties would rather be". How about attached to the skeletal structure of the live cow they started on? Is this the reasoning Democrats use when they see the money in your pay check?

Old News

AITOOW thinks there is a space-time continuum disturbance going on? Every week a new set of old news stories comes out and it seems as though the media doesn't remember that it already reported on the issue. Take the Russian dossier and uranium stories. Unless, I have been seeing into the future, these stories were reported/opined on months if not years ago. Now I am glad that they weren't relegated to the trash heap of history, but, it isn't news. It was just something they chose not to cover very conscientiously. Maybe that is why it seems new to them. They ignored it (and many other stories) the first time. Maybe these stories don't get through their news feed filters. I don't get my news from social media. Maybe that is the reason?

Cream of the Crap

AITOOW who thinks a snarky way to shut down someone belittling a group is to say "you're the one who chooses to associate with them"? Can also say "well, if you chose to go to those sorts of places...". Anything that reminds the person that they aren't that different if they move in that world.

Iran-aways

AITOOW sick of reading/hearing diagnosis of liberal policies that contemplate the (liberal's) stated objectives? That is never REALLY what (or how) they intended to accomplish. It was just the lie they sold in place of the truth. Take the Iran nuclear deal. It was never about keeping/delaying them from having nukes. It was part of a generalized philosophical belief (held by liberals) that if we "include" an "outsider" in our "village", they will eventually not want to harm it. They will grow accustomed to the joys of communal living and not wish to live without it. If we bring Iran back into the consortium of nations, they will not act out like a rebellious teenager. It's the ultimate liberal/outcast obsession masquerading as policy. Iran is just like; a trans child, a homosexual, a hippie, etc. He/She just needs to be accepted. It's the fairy tale dream they all still cling to despite their vitriol. Unfortunately, it is as naive as it is pathetic. It precludes the possibility that people (at least some) are either born without utility (bad) or become so. And maybe they shouldn't be allowed to procure the means to become a nuisance. And it ignores the fact that they themselves chose to leave a community (that made demands on them that they didn't like) despite it's many benefits.

Average At Worst

AITOOW thinks strategy/foreknowledge can't be very important to hitting a baseball? If it was, pitchers and catchers would have the edge. They are the positions that contemplate pitch selection in the greatest part. They should be best able to "diagnose" and defeat the opposition's approach. Yet, they mostly maintain the worst batting averages. Pitchers may have the excuse that they don't practice hitting as much as other players. Some cite fatigue as a factor for catchers. Maybe they both overthink it.

Wein Stain

AITOOW thinks that public opinion (if it was with them) is going to soon turn against the Weinstein accusers? Or at least dissolve into apathy. Some are jealous of the accusers. Some think entertainers (especially the ones coming forward) are harlots and have/had done worse. Some are reminded of rejection by (girls like) them. Some think that the issue is being manipulated by groups to advance an agenda. Some note that some of the accusers appear superficial by bringing up his appearance. Some will think the charges are minor.

It is interesting that the Jewish community isn't circling the wagons like other minority groups are inclined to do. Maybe this is the proper tactic. This way the reputation of the entire group isn't smeared in the process. Or at least isn't considered irrational for their obstinate/paranoid group think. It sounds ignoble, but, maybe it is the better strategy. Or maybe they are just self-preserving cowards after all.

Going Green

AITOOW is confounded at how long they have to wait at a green light to move? I understand that there is a slight delay between cars, but, doesn't it seem that we could all step on the gas at the same time and we could all be moving forward the second it turns green? We all catch up to the car in front of us anyway. Shouldn't the worry (of ramming the car in front) be greater when we know we are going to stop (red light)? Seems like people race into these stops. Do we expect that the guy is going to jam on his brakes at a green?

AITOOW thinks when someone lauds something (like a method of cooking) as being "preserved", it means that that culture probably lacked the critical thinking to improve on it.

Playing With Their Weiner

AITOOW finds the false ignorance of Harvey Weinstein's behavior amusing? First of all, the idea that anybody in Hollywood was ignorant of this behavior defies belief. It has always been the "way" in Hollywood. The way to get a role. The way the game is played. Successful actresses (and actors for that matter) didn't rise in their metier because of talent. They might have had talent, but, they also slept with someone along the way. That is why this is so pathetic. Everyone in the process is a potential "bill' that has to be paid. Agents, actors, directors, writers, producers, etc. They all have (or at one point had) dirty hands. Not to mention the way many actresses "pay the rent" when money runs dry. I'm not saying that the practice should exist, I'm just saying that anyone who pretends that it was a secret is either an imbecile or lying. It's so "out" that the industry itself makes movies about it. Books (fiction and non-fiction and auto-bios) and songs are written about it. They even invented a phrase for it - casting couch. And it's not just a Hollywood thing. It happens in most industries. And it's not about exploitation or violation. It's actually about shame and power politics and prejudice. If Harvey was attractive then this behavior would have been encouraged (or at least accepted). If the women didn't know that down deep they could be willing to betray their morality for fame, they wouldn't need an ancillary target for their rage. If they didn't feel that this could be used as leverage to kick start a moribund career or shake down the target or garner some undeserved and insincere praise/attention, they wouldn't have come forward. These women aren't heroes. They are cowards that took payoffs or hid in the shadows while this reprehensible behavior went on and on. It's a familiar story. It's a story with no good guys. It's called reality. Or the middle part of every Law and Order SVU episode.

And let's call out Lorne Michaels who proves the thesis set out. He didn't include/lampoon the story in last weeks episode because he knows what I write is true. He's scared his dirt (alleged) will come out along with everyone else's. He didn't want to draw attention to it. It wasn't because it was a local (NY) story.

AITOOW loves it when the black man speaks his infantile mind? Up first - Cam Newton. Guess it's not you and the black man against the guy who reminds you of your father, white girls. Eric Reid. An oppressor is not a person who disagrees with you (won't let you have your way) and lets you know it. He's doing what your real dad should have done. And I forget which talking head described Trump's position on the protests sanctioned by the NFL as divisive this Sunday morning. Are his comments divisive or is insulting a national ceremony divisive? Usually a REACTION to an action is seen as the less culpable offense. And while we are on liberal talking heads, why is the liberal idea of an adult an ineffectual, collusive hypocrite?

AITOOW who wonders why people are choosing to take a knee as an act of defiance? It's a prostrate/subservient position. An act of a slave. Just another piece of evidence of the mindlessness of the author and the cause. Let alone the self-servicing of it all. And is injustice really the complaint?The injustice of affirmative action? The injustice of lowered/double standards? The injustice of protected class status? The injustice of the burden of social programs? The injustice in the balance of contributions to the society? Injustice in the manner in which one race tries to help the other and the other race actively seeks to undermine the other? A race that has never lifted a finger to help any one other than themselves. A race who sold their own people like chattel. A race whose greatest "heroes" are just people who fought for self-interest. Maybe they just need to hold their hands together in thanks to strike the right pose.

I would like to demand that justice be served by outlawing the name Zuniga and any statues, et al that celebrate such a double insult.

Make It Slo

AITOOW wonders how fast a pitch is in slo-mo? It still seems pretty fast. They should calculate the speed so we can realize at what a reduced speed we probably still couldn't hit or call it a ball or strike. I bet it's still around fifty mph at the usual slo mo speed. They could then compare and contrast it to other levels of the sport. Tell us that this is the average speed in middle school/high school/college/etc. Slow down the replay so we see at those speeds. Other speed oriented contests could benefit (garner respect) in the same way.

AITOOW wonders what the fear of Hell is? You have no body. No nerves, etc. You are just a spirit. How can they hurt a spirit/you? And since we are speaking of it, why do ghosts in movies, etc always have a shape? Usually a human shape. Wouldn't we just be energy. Either invisible or like a cloud.

AITOOW thinks they should ask the protagonist of that new show (I think it is called The Good Doctor) about the autistic doctor to explain "things" to the rest of the cast? They say "he sees things in ways we can't understand". If he can, then he can relieve their ignorance of his circumstance/situation. He can be the bridge to understanding. I mean if these other doctors can't figure that out, do any of us want them operating on us to begin with?

AITOOW thinks a conservationist (especially environmental) is just someone who doesn't like to share? They are usually protecting something for their use and that you aren't allowed to appreciate as well. Because if two is one too many, YOU would be the "one too many". Not them. They saw it first. Maybe. Seniority doesn't apply in that case.

AITOOW thinks they missed something in the article I just read about Chipotle? The five percent price increase seems to be accompanied by a decrease in the portion size (at least in tacos). The shells seem to be at least 1/4 smaller (and with a different/coarser texture). Maybe my location ran out of the usual and bought some El Paso at the supermarket? I only go about once a month (so I may be mis-remembering) because of the double digit/single item and small drink cost (like the article referenced). I also never bought into the eco-conscious bs and don't love the freaky staff. Plus they can't even leverage the high margin segment into free wifi. Even though the low cost leaders who spend on advertising and discounts somehow can. Guess that $ goes to pay for the sepsis shots for the Hellraiser preparing my meal. Hope he buys stock. AITOOW is aware that much of the rise in equity prices is due to stock repurchasing plans by corporate America? This strategy supports price levels through supplying demand directly and indirectly (fewer shares outstanding make year over year or quarter over quarter comps more impressive = outside buyers are impressed = demand). I won't question whether this is the best use of corporate funds or ethical (directors being rewarded for earnings increases or share price appreciation). I will question if it is another instance of "artificiality" causing a bubble that will cripple the economy. Not to mention if these buybacks are all being financed with excess cash. How many companies are borrowing money (at today's low interest rates) to do this? What happens to them when rates rise? Last year 66% of corporate earnings went to buy back shares. 4 trillion since 2008.

AITOOW wonders why nations that want to limit imports don't change their standards from established standards? Foreign manufacturers would be less likely to create competing products for a singular market. They would provide their industries with an advantage. This would work especially well for emerging countries. You would "block" imports from "removing" your currency and motivate internal growth. Tariffs help, but, they don't result in an improvement in your industrial capabilities. Large countries could also benefit from their substantial domestic markets.

Anyone that watches a Mexican solemnly slave in the sun for peanuts can't believe that they weren't a better option. I know they say that the indigenous people couldn't take the heat, but, they can't be talking about Mexicans. Today's African ancestors are the progeny of the toughest/best of the bunch. How bad were the others?

I liked it (it seems) because it sounds alot like Yvonne Elliman's "If I Can't Have You" from Saturday Night Fever and that is a good song. I'll ask once again how a generation of sport-phobic Glee-ers with access to every piece of art every produced can be so artistically naive and impotent. Is it because they rush through everything? If you think you have struck an agreement to be exclusive for a set period of time, you will be the only one agreeing (or the only one capable of agreeing) in good faith. You are better off just leading them on. It seem ungentlemanly, but, the rules must consider the opponent when there is no referee or penalty.

CBS likes white haired men and Irish brunettes. ABC likes greasers. Black haired men and women that are (like Tom the Llama) and or appear to be (David Manure) Hispanic or Semitic. And they have to read the news hysterically. Like every story is the end of the world. Fox has its blond bimbos and white guys. Speaking of which, How weird has botox, etal made ex-Fox host Megyn Kelly's nose look. It's like John Stamos'. All twisted from muscles pumped full of botox pulling every which way. She's hard to look at. Let alone listen to. What a condescending little empty vessel. Who could have thought she was a star? Or substantive? And speaking of hard to look at - is their a more disturbingly frozen faced duo then Kit Hoover and (now) Natalie Morales. If I had to do an interview with them I would need a blindfold. I really can't be made to understand how the people at the top of these food chains made it there. It's like they put names in a fish bowl.

Do we need to read between the lines and guess that the law and tribal politics won't let you surveil these people?  One look at the Moorish Mr Bean mayor and his hobbit diversity pick of a police chief shed some light on what needs to change. Eight minutes for the police to respond? At a public area? Where were the boobies on duty? They should have been there in seconds to wave their dildos at the assailants. How long before not just the bridge is falling down?

AITOOW wonders why teaching is so hard? That's what they always tell us. If it is so hard then maybe we should re-examine how (and to whom) it is structured. Perhaps these whining teachers shouldn't say public education is a right. Perhaps we should exclude the juveniles who make it so hard. Perhaps it could be taken away for bad behavior/grades. Perhaps fines should be assessed for behavior that increases cost. Municipalities are charging (in addition to taxes) fees for all sorts of services (fires, police calls).

FED Up

AITOOW thinks the Federal Reserve isn't scared of raising rates because of it's effect on the economy? Directly anyway. It knows that a rate increase will signal that the free money party is over to market professionals (smart ones anyway) and all that paper wealth will soon disappear. That REALLY will effect the economy. Not a point or two extra borrowing cost. Now this day of reckoning was always inevitable once it intervened like it did in 2008. The question is (and has been for a while) - is it better to wait too long to raise rates (like it did before the first Great Depression and probably already has) and try to avoid direct blame (like before) or try and limit the damage and maybe take a little heat? Some historians say that the Fed caused the Great Depression by taking monetary policy out of the hands of the banks and giving it to bureaucrats (its mission). Bureaucrats that made money too easily available because of political pressure or flawed economic theories. "Putting a penny in the fuse box" was the way Alan Greenspan described it. Funny how history repeats itself. I know - they are tinkering with the methodology. Like sucking in other national banks and supporting the Market by purchasing stocks. Just seems like they are adding air to the balloon. Hopefully, they are regulating the pressure like they think they are. Seems like bureaucrats always over estimate their intelligence.

It went from the "action" verbs to the "descriptive" verbs. From the physical harm to the emotional. And now the protagonist has co-opted the same type of ethics. It's not the harm or benefit conveyed, it is whether it was observed and accepted by society. If society says a poke in the eye is acceptable then it is. Whether that is refutable or not. I guess it's just more 20th century Subjectivism.

Now it has been shown that an Israeli teen did it from Israel. No retractions. And they made it seem like those threats were against Muslims not Jews in their reporting. Pathetic.

AITOOW dumbfounded that no one finds it odd that every newscast is almost exactly the same every night? The same stories (no matter how contrived or sensational) in the same order with the same video outtakes/backdrop. Maybe a dissimilar slice of life puff piece at the end. If I didn't know better, I would say that that one entity was producing all content and then packaging it for sale to whomever wants it. You would think alarm bells would go off. Are people just not watching the news any more? Are people not furiously changing channels in disgust? Why is nothing said about it. Forget fake news. How about uniform news? If there is no news overlord then they must be coordinating or stealing content from each other. Do they all have spies in each others news rooms or is this where a "coordinator in chief" enters into it?

And why is the media so obsessed with exploiting/cashing in on an event? They try and turn every short story into an epic novel. That or they beat it to death. Or there network does a "news magazine" story on it. Oh yeah. The answer is $. That and it requires less work. You can "sample/steal" pre-existing content.

I'm also of the opinion that they fabricate/make news. Especially protest "news". It isn't just "prodding" or selectively seeking or questioning or editing responses and behaviors. I really believe they foster/coordinate outrage (other than the outrage they foment on air) to create content. Content they find "interesting/salacious" and politically orthodox. That or they are on speed dial with the agitators. Whose organizations they and their people probably support.

And I'd like to end with a "ho hum" to fake news. We have fake everything else nowadays. so why not news? I mean is it fake news that Miss (Liberal) Universe has had a nose job (fake nose et al)? That is oddly potentially  real news of a "fake".

Immi-grants

AITOOW thinks migration leads to imbalances in the world? And if it does then it can't be allowed according to socialistic/humanistic rhetoric. Anything that promotes inequities/imbalances is inherently amoral. Unless, I guess, the worst of a society invade a superior society. Is that what the left is affirming? As Trump says "we are not getting their best". I was foolish enough to begin my query with the belief that the most aspirational members of a community emigrate. Never mind.

AITOOW thinks a hermit/outcast's lack of companionship makes him/her more susceptible/reliant on an invisible friend/ mystical figure? Kind of a self fulfilling prophecy. Or circular construct.

Piss Poor-zingis

AITOOW thinks a point guard should get an assist if he dribbles up court (doesn't pass to anyone) and scores? I think the "no assist" rule makes it seem like shoot first point guards are less valuable than their pass first cousins. Both result in a field goal. Why is one penalized because he can do the scoring. He just "passed" to himself.

FYI -everytime I've seen Porzingis, he looks average at best. I thought he was a shot blocker?

Content of Their Color

AITOOW saw that universities are now accepting students whose only qualification is that an ancestor underwent slavery? And I'm not talking ITT Tech. Not white indentured or slavery or Jewish or Asian slavery mind you. No white liberal guilt about that. It seems that all those "points" systems weren't "remedial" or effective enough to get those dummies a diploma they don't deserve. And they left off grades or test scores decades ago. It seems that that it is true that all they have to do is "stay black and die". Fat white women and weak white men will do everything else for them.

That was in response to the Italians he met in Naples. Makes me laugh at the quote Joseph Rosendo cites at the end of his travel show - "travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow mindedness". Seems like he (Twain) reconsidered.

They understand how his mind works about as well as they understand Donald Trump, the Tea Party, MMA/NFL Fans, their own fathers and the red white and "blue bloods" who were born to privilege in the cities they (hayseed yokels masquerading as elites) had to adopt and who the real elites have rejected for a slice of middle America.
