I mean, even if it was, how much tact does it take to win well? And are we at a point where being a good winner is so rare that we have to look twice at it? Why do I think that those kids did what they did because they thought they should not because they felt they should? I still sense a depraved heart.

AITOOW is aware that much of the rise in equity prices is due to stock repurchasing plans by corporate America? This strategy supports price levels through supplying demand directly and indirectly (fewer shares outstanding make year over year or quarter over quarter comps more impressive = outside buyers are impressed = demand). I won't question whether this is the best use of corporate funds or ethical (directors being rewarded for earnings increases or share price appreciation). I will question if it is another instance of "artificiality" causing a bubble that will cripple the economy. Not to mention if these buybacks are all being financed with excess cash. How many companies are borrowing money (at today's low interest rates) to do this? What happens to them when rates rise? Last year 66% of corporate earnings went to buy back shares. 4 trillion since 2008.

AITOOW would like the following terms to be adopted? "Im-media-ates". This is for the ADD/immediate gratification media. Can also be "I-media-tes". How about "Mediots"? For the morons in the media. And don'y forget the yet to sweep the nation "medi(a)-ocrity.

AITOOW wonders why nations that want to limit imports don't change their standards from established standards? Foreign manufacturers would be less likely to create competing products for a singular market. They would provide their industries with an advantage. This would work especially well for emerging countries. You would "block" imports from "removing" your currency and motivate internal growth. Tariffs help, but, they don't result in an improvement in your industrial capabilities. Large countries could also benefit from their substantial domestic markets.

AITOOW wonders how Europeans arrived at the conclusion that Africans were the best option in the new world? Anyone that watches a Mexican solemnly slave in the sun for peanuts can't believe that they weren't a better option. I know they say that the indigenous people couldn't take the heat, but, they can't be talking about Mexicans. Today's African ancestors are the progeny of the toughest/best of the bunch. How bad were the others?

AITOOW thinks the latest revelations about doctored emissions by German automakers show how empty the Paris Climate Accords are/were? The number one (maybe two after the frogs) cry baby when the US dropped out was Germany. Like a merkin covers up a "blemish" in film, how much do you want to bet that a "Merkel" covers up Germany's exposed swantzes? Especially for the number one exporter in the Fatherland. It's so typical of the moral vacuity and false witness of our "allies".

And how can anyone trust anything the global warming alarmists say. They are so deep into the belief that they would lose face (and Al Gore would lose millions) if they were to ever reconsider the evidence. Not to bother with the "inconvenient truths' that who is to say what the proper ambient temperature or water levels are to begin with.

AITOOW thinks that millenials don't seem to have (profess to have) the same attitude towards artistic appropriation that they have towards cultural? Even though it often is that too. I just heard the first listenable song produced in 2017. Despacito may be the worst Song of Summer ever.

This song may be called - Everything Now by Arcade Fire. I didn't look it up. That was the most repeated refrain. I liked it (it seems) because it sounds alot like Yvonne Elliman's "If I Can't Have You" from Saturday Night Fever and that is a good song. I'll ask once again how a generation of sport-phobic Glee-ers with access to every piece of art every produced can be so artistically naive and impotent. Is it because they rush through everything? Is it a lack of work ethic? Is it a lack of focus? A lack of pride? Is it the cut and paste culture they go through school with? They are just the worst artists since Medieval times. It was bad enough when it mainly affected hip hop. Now it's pervasive. Maybe they should just stop producing and just DJ and mash up the real art?

AITOOW think it isn't a problem that Trump isn't accomplishing anything? He should be dismantling big government. Not fixing it or adding to it. It's a joy to hear the silence.

AITOOW thinks that the media business must be run like no other business? How else can you explain how surprised they seem to be at Donald Trump's managerial style? His behavior seems pretty standard to me. In fact, he's pretty tame compared some of the bosses I've worked for or with.
