AITOOW is embarrassed at how receptive we are to prevailing prejudices? Whatever the current opinion/beliefs is/are, we parrot them as gospel. There is no critical analysis of the issue to see what the correct belief should be. Just group think.

The 411 911

AITOOW thinks the police are funny about vigilantes? They want the publics help to catch the criminals (seem impotent without it), but, are against any other interference. Do you think it embarrasses them? Or they don't want you to think they are not necessary? Or do they want all the hero worship and credit for jumping in at the last minute to do the clean up work? I'm sure it's a concern for our safety that motivates them and that's all.

Unreality TV

AITOOW who would like to congratulate the ineffectual, delusional, meddlesome, duplicitous American press for failing trying unsuccessfully again to influence world events? Does Obama tap you on the head when he's ready? And congrats to Benji.

Wallace and Vomit

AITOOW thinks Nicole Wallace is the most liberal one on the View? It's funny how they market her as the right wing heavy and she either agrees or gets pressured into agreeing with all the other halfwits on the show. She just your typical white collar Manhattan working mom. A creature detached from reality on every issue from child rearing to nutrition. And that shrill voice and buck teeth are the cherry on the sundae.

Follywood

AITOOW has read 12 Years A Slave? Funny thing. He writes all the time that he doesn't seek to sensationalize the experience. Yet, that is exactly what Hollywood did. I'm not saying the following didn't happen ever, but, it didn't happen in the book. 1. No rape of the woman in the ship in the beginning. 2. No making him strip down when first captured. 3. No sex with another slave when he was a slave. 4. No hitting Patsy in the head with a bottle. 5. He also says that he received bruises from whippings. I'm not sure if I read that right, but, it inferred that not every lash cut into the skin. There are alot of other inconsistencies. I just hate these salacious perversions of fact to foment racism.

AITOOW thinks reality shows are popular because scripted programs make fun or are critical of these kinds of people? Those kinds of people are the audience. They don't share the values that most writers embody their heroes with.
