Living While White

AITOOW thinks that if the hub bub that is going on around the Dolphins took place in another segment of society we would be told not to inject our personal prejudices into their construct? We would be branded as insensitive, mean spirited, audacious and bigoted. We would be told that this is a sub-culture whose beliefs we must tolerate. Let's get this straight, I deplore these kinds of humiliating exercises. At the very least the "initiate" should not be deemed "guilty" of whatever it is that they seek to "correct" and should not be fleeced. I'm just pointing out that the "descrying class" has a double standard. And being white and male and established is enough to exclude you from their understanding.
