Make It Slo

AITOOW wonders how fast a pitch is in slo-mo? It still seems pretty fast. They should calculate the speed so we can realize at what a reduced speed we probably still couldn't hit or call it a ball or strike. I bet it's still around fifty mph at the usual slo mo speed. They could then compare and contrast it to other levels of the sport. Tell us that this is the average speed in middle school/high school/college/etc. Slow down the replay so we see at those speeds. Other speed oriented contests could benefit (garner respect) in the same way.

Hurts Like Hell

AITOOW wonders what the fear of Hell is? You have no body. No nerves, etc. You are just a spirit. How can they hurt a spirit/you? And since we are speaking of it, why do ghosts in movies, etc always have a shape? Usually a human shape. Wouldn't we just be energy. Either invisible or like a cloud.

Dr Know

AITOOW thinks they should ask the protagonist of that new show (I think it is called The Good Doctor) about the autistic doctor to explain "things" to the rest of the cast? They say "he sees things in ways we can't understand". If he can, then he can relieve their ignorance of his circumstance/situation. He can be the bridge to understanding. I mean if these other doctors can't figure that out, do any of us want them operating on us to begin with?

Con Job

AITOOW thinks a conservationist (especially environmental) is just someone who doesn't like to share? They are usually protecting something for their use and that you aren't allowed to appreciate as well. Because if two is one too many, YOU would be the "one too many". Not them. They saw it first. Maybe. Seniority doesn't apply in that case.

Cheap-otle

AITOOW thinks they missed something in the article I just read about Chipotle? The five percent price increase seems to be accompanied by a decrease in the portion size (at least in tacos). The shells seem to be at least 1/4 smaller (and with a different/coarser texture). Maybe my location ran out of the usual and bought some El Paso at the supermarket? I only go about once a month (so I may be mis-remembering) because of the double digit/single item and small drink cost (like the article referenced). I also never bought into the eco-conscious bs and don't love the freaky staff. Plus they can't even leverage the high margin segment into free wifi. Even though the low cost leaders who spend on advertising and discounts somehow can. Guess that $ goes to pay for the sepsis shots for the Hellraiser preparing my meal. Hope he buys stock. Down 40% this year alone.

AITOOW just learned that batters probably have higher success rates when runners are in scoring position because that's when sign stealing increases? And I thought it was because they only concentrate as hard as can at those very moments.

AITOOW took a while to get that the "Harvey" topic on the sports news crawl was not about Matt Harvey's return? And BTW, all those generous "donations" are tax deductible. Still haven't heard if the companies that had no problem (Apple) making it rain a million times on the Southern Poverty Law Center have deemed the people of Texas as worthy. Maybe we need to remind them that Houston is like eighty percent black and hispanic? If only they smoked pipe then Tim Cook would really open up the check book.
