AITOOW is "awakened" to the growing imbalance of minority characters on tv? They are being included at a far higher rate than their numbers in the real world. If that should even be a rule. Take the cast of Big Brother. It's not close to the 13% in the real world. A regular NBA or NFL of reality shows. One more unreal aspect to the genre. I wonder if it has an effect on the ratings? I'm not watching. I usually can't stomach the drama that one or two of these lunatics brings. Can you imagine the overt racism and bigoted dogma the white contestants (well the men anyway) and the audience are going to be forced to sit through? No thanks.
