They Binded Me With Science

AITOOW wonders how libs can say we need to provide paid maternity leave (so both parents can bond with a thing that won't remember the confab/spa week anyway) and then tell parents that they shall have no input into raising/teaching the same child a few years later? Seems like one is superfluous (and wrong) and the other is just wrong. But, I'm sure they'll dig up some academic to say it is based on science. Seems like a conflict of interest to have a teacher deciding this. Then again, they will just have a medical professional stand in if that is called for.
