AITOOW thinks the Texans hired Lovie Smith for the following reasons? 1. They want to lose as many games as possible to get Bryce Young. 2. They want to some good will of their own on the racial front. Their white ownership/management has been under fire. 3. They cut a deal with the NFL to get more advantageous treatment over the Deshaun Watson case. They take some heat off the NFL by hiring a black coach in return for the aforementioned. And on the subject of black representation. Black males are 6% of the population. There needs to be only two coahes employed to have an equitable distribution. We only need to address the under representation of white players going forward.
