Too funny. I'm so glad I have a forum to out him. I didn't let it get too far so I have to guess at the scam. My guess is that it is a variation of the old "fake check deposit, request for reimbursement and then the delayed bounce on the original check". He pretended he wanted my services and would pay up front to retain me. Then he started asking me to introduce him to people who could do business with. Perhaps I was just going to be the professional that gave him legitimacy when he tried to scam others. I think that email domain is the key. It is one extra "i" away from a real domain. When I googled that domain I got some links that track this guy in his many forms. It must be a scammer friendly domain. Glad it helped. Pass on the info.
