Pot Hole

AITOOW who wonders if pot effects groups of people differently? It seems like there was a lot of intellectual expression from whites in the Fifties and Sixties. I can't recall as much ethnic contribution. Not sure if Jazz qualifies as either pot sponsored or as intellectual. That may be my faulty memory. Today's contribution seems to be inane rambling that I term "mumble" rap. Now I know that can also be partly attributed to cough syrup and liquor, but, is the answer that pot is just too strong now to allow for mental "day tripping"? It's not like white artists seem to be creating anything better. We've had people write on opium, heroin, meth, cocaine, amphetamines, etc. throughout history Art was never this bad/dull/stagnant.

Hate Is Enough

AITOOW which is more of a hate crime? Cops killing people who are suspected of engaging in a affront to society or people killing cops that are trying to protect society or minding their own business? I suppose one could argue that the cops are suspects as well. Do the statistics support that or is anecdotal evidence relied upon too much?

AITOOW finds it pathetic that people get angry with Object of what they don't know instead of the Subject - themselves?

AITOOW has noticed that the same women who yell bloody murder when a supposedly patriarchal society supposedly assigns/supports gender roles that seem to conform with Nature have no problem assigning behavioral patterns to boys/men? Ones that seem to be odds with Nature.

AITOOW wonders how opponents of the Crimson Tide haven't caught on to the whole menstruation angle? Still don't get why the mascot is an elephant either. And if you are in the pocket and throw the ball behind the line of scrimmage, how is that not intentional grounding when qbs do it to stop the clock.

AITOOW has noticed that all Bruno Mars has done (since at least Uptown Funk) is steal mid-Eighties Soul Pop beats? I'm hearing "I Feel For You" and others by Chaka Khan. And there are rip offs of that whole group of acts like Lisa Lisa and Sheila E. I can't remember all their names. There was always a mix of girls and guys. Maybe Debarge. The Jets? They were mostly Latin Blacks, so, I guess that could be the explanation. He's the new Carlos Santana. Ripping off his own people and somehow never being called to account for it. I guess they just have so few successes that they have to allow it. It was funny hearing him on 60 Minutes say he chose his name because he shoots for the stars. Mars is a planet and almost the nearest one to Earth.

Let We Tell You What I think

AITOOW wonders what the hell is going on in your brain when you have an "argument" with yourself? Don't the kind that starts with it processing an "external/foreign" idea. The times when you literally disagree with your mind. Sometimes it is referred to as "conscience". Sometimes it is just "thinking out loud". I guess Freud would explain the conscience "arguments as an ego/super ego and id issue. But, that is more philosophy than science. What does science/biology say? Is it separate "filing cabinets" of personality collected in neurons and they vie to be put on speed dial? Is repetition the "manure" that helps the beliefs that form "us" develop? Do we produce/anticipate "external" opinion after enough exposure to it? Is that the "other voice"?

AITOOW wonders why all these global warming alarmists think the solution is to make Mars inhabitable? Why can we do that and NOT be able to salvage whatever wreck we make of this planet? Last time I looked Mars didn't have an atmosphere - for starters.
