Read Ink/Red Inc

AITOOW wonders what ever happened to investigative journalism? It's mostly just cut and paste or opinion. Especially on tv. They might as well just read the newspaper like they do on some British morning programs. Was it always this way and I just didn't realize? Were they just aping the AP and UP in the old days? Is there a wholesaler/rack jobber for news? Why do they separate print and television anyway? Why didn't the Post or Times gravitate to tv when that started? Or when the financials migrated. All we hear is that print is a losing proposition. How expensive is a studio and a few puppets? They are subsidizing their competition as it is now.
