The New New York

AITOOW thinks the Knicks must avoid Kyrie and Kemba? They have a PG or three already. Go for a big F. Durant or Davis (if cheap) and Klay. Klay probably will be reticent to leave GS, but, he would fill a need. If not him then the next best spot up shooter. And they have to be realistic. This summer will probably be LeBron II. IE resulting in overpaying an injury prone Amare Stoudemire. However, the worst thing they can do is waste their money again. If no one wants to sign then save that cap room so people have to bow to you next season if they need cap relief to further their aims. No more Hardaway type ridiculousness. And I'm forecasting that you want get a top lottery pick. You will screw it up by winning or the bball gods will make those ping pong balls bounce another's way. Best case scenario - Robinson, Durant, Knox, Thompson, Smith with Mudiay, Nikilina, Zion, Jordan (or some other veteran C) off the bench.

And the NY Giants should trade their pick for Derek Carr or Josh Rosen. I saw Haskins repeatedly shrink when exposed to pressure. Physical and mental pressure. He is soft. He looked scared when bigger guys were in his face. He lacks toughness. The pressure of his draft position, the big city expectations and attention and NFL caliber defensive players will overwhelm him. Especially with a team that has a porous offensive line like NY. IF he could succeed, it would need to be on a team with a great O line in a smaller (nurturing/mellow) city. Maybe J'Ville? Or Oakland/Vegas because Vegas will be happy for a number of years that they have a team. And Oakland/Vegas can grab him with Giants pick or their own and offload Carr's contract. Rosen is just better than any QB in this draft and AZ could be dumb enough not to realize this.
