Ex-perks

AITOOW wonders how we can trust 'experts" and officials who have been give their posts in the name of diveristy? Is that why we have seen so many get it wrong lately? I'd like my "experts" to at least be properly credentialed/vetted. Maybe a test. A ranking system? You need one to be allowed to be a lawyer or a doctor or a real estate agent. It would seem that it might be a tad more important to operate as an expert. It would seem "scientific" to require this. Now it seems like an indulgence you can buy or receive by virtue of having none (except your physical form or tastes).
