Bull Chette

AITOOW thinks it's damn near impossible for an athlete in a judged sport to win a medal if they are not a favorite before the Games start or they don't parlay a dead relative into unwarranted sympathy? There is no way that the Canadian clod hopper was better than the second Japanese skater or the Japanese-American skater. Her spins were slower. She bobbled on every jump. She was far less graceful. And the Korean skater was not THAT superior. She has no presence. Her routine had no story. Her custom was bland. Trust me. The Cleopatra routine and the triple triple were the best moments of that "competition". And the announcers are no less prejudiced towards the favorites. They didn't even dissect the Korean girl's skate to see if she completed her turns. Why even have the competition? It's predetermined. You can only lose if you fall.
