They are just putting them back to where they had historically been after two failed attempts to gouge their customers. They raise it to $35 around two years ago. Then I think they made it $50. I stopped using them after the first money grab. Now they just conceded (with Walmart's help) to the realization that the price hikes were an unsustainable business decision. I wonder if you can ever get fired for being greedy at Amazon? Perhaps that exec went on to (or back to) the airline industry?
